Firewall Basics

In Nanoode Cloud, a Firewall is a Security Group. Each firewall includes 1,000 security rules. Security rules define what inbound traffic is allowed to access an instance.

By default, firewall allows any IPv4 and IPv6 traffic accesses an instance. When any rules are added to a firewall, only these traffic is allowed to access an instance.

Our next generation of firewall supports both IPv4 and IPv6.
